    Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2024 to feature top global financial leaders

    MENA Newswire News Desk:  Abu Dhabi Finance Week (ADFW), the flagship financial event for the MEASA region, is set to return in 2024 under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. Hosted by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), this year’s event will feature over 300 high-profile speakers from across the globe, including top executives from 50 major global financial institutions.

    Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2024 to feature top global financial leaders

    Among the confirmed speakers are Sergio Ermotti, Group CEO of UBS, Bill Huffman, CEO of Nuveen, David Hunt, President & CEO of PGIM, Isabelle Scemama, Global Head of AXA IM, Bill Ford, Chairman & CEO of General Atlantic, and Shayne Nelson, Group CEO of Emirates NBD. Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater, Rajiv Jain, Chairman and CIO of GQG Partners, and Mohammed Alaradhi, Executive Chairman of Investcorp, are also on the impressive list of financial leaders who will take the stage.

    ADGM Chairman, Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, highlighted the importance of this year’s event, stating, “Abu Dhabi’s role as a global financial hub continues to grow. ADFW 2024 will be a pivotal moment for the financial industry, with participation from CEOs of globally significant institutions. At ADGM, we are focused on driving innovation and meaningful dialogue that reinforces Abu Dhabi’s standing as the Capital of Capital.”

    Local and regional leaders will also take the spotlight at the event. Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President & CEO of the UAE Independent Climate Change Accelerators (UICCA), and H.R.H. Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, Founder and CEO of KBW Ventures, are among those confirmed to speak. UAE officials like Abdulla Bin Touq AlMarri, Minister of Economy, and Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, will further elevate the profile of ADFW.

    Representatives from leading organizations, such as Robert Salomon, Dean of Stern at NYUAD, and Christian Angermeyer, Founder of Aperion Investments, Hatem Dowidar, Group CEO of E&, and Shamsir Vayalil, Founder and CEO of Burjeel Holdings will also be participating. With ADFW growing in influence, its 2024 edition is expected to solidify Abu Dhabi’s position as a critical player in global finance. The event aims to foster dialogue, collaboration, and innovation across industries and regions, making it a must-attend for financial leaders worldwide.
